"Authentic Collectables are very proud to announce
our first road car die-cast model that we are
developing for Australian collectors in 1:18 scale,
the Holden VE Commodore SS V-Series.
Dubbed the ‘Billion Dollar Baby’ when it was first
launched in 2006, the Holden VE Commodore was
an executive car that arguably represented Holden
in Australia at the absolute peak of its powers and
we’re excited to now be bringing you this iconic
Commodore in scale model form.
This 1:18 scale model range will be produced in
die-cast with fully opening parts and high detail
with immaculate finishing throughout and like all
our model releases in this scale, each version will
be produced in an exclusive limited edition with an
individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Development on the new tooling for this model is
reasonably advanced and we currently expect the
first models produced from it to be released in the

first half of next year (2022) should everything
progress as planned and without unforeseen
interruption.
We’re initially announcing two colour variations of
the 1:18 scale SS V that we intend to release first,
the striking orange ‘hero’ launch car in Ignition
Metallic and every car looks good in black so
Phantom Metallic will be the 2nd colour option
produced in this new range."
